AI Animal Identifier explains how photo review, account sessions, identification credits, payments, and service provider data are handled while providing animal identification guidance.
Photos and analysis workflow
AI Animal Identifier is designed around a photo-first animal identification workflow. Uploaded images are used to show a preview and provide animal name, visual clue, safety, and encyclopedia guidance in the product experience. Do not upload photos that include faces, private documents, or unrelated personal details.
Account and session data
An account is required for animal identification. Supabase stores the session details needed to recognize a signed-in user, such as user id, email, provider metadata, and session cookies. We store account-linked identification results and usage balances to provide access and let you return to a result.
Payments and identification credits
Waffo handles payment details on its hosted checkout. We store order references, payment status, identification credit balances, and notification records to deliver purchases and prevent duplicate credit grants. Contact support for account or data requests.
Analysis and service providers
When photo analysis or analytics are enabled, uploaded image metadata, animal identification records, and basic analytics events may be processed by providers such as Supabase, Google, Modelslab, storage providers, and analytics tools.
Microsoft Clarity session recordings
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand interactions on public pages through session recordings and usage measurements. Clarity runs in limited, cookieless mode without advertising or analytics storage consent; page views are not linked across visits using Clarity cookies. Uploaded-photo areas, identification results, and account details are masked, and authentication, account, and payment pages are excluded. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Ad blockers or browser restrictions may prevent collection.
Advertising
Public animal identification pages load Adsterra advertising automatically, including banners, native ads, Social Bar overlays, and Popunder ads that may open an advertiser tab when you interact with a page. Adsterra and its advertising partners may process IP address, browser and device information, page visits, and advertising cookies or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Advertiser destinations have their own privacy policies. We do not intentionally send uploaded photos, identification results, account information, or payment details as advertising parameters. Wildlife and privacy reminder
The service provides educational image guidance only. Avoid sharing sensitive personal details, and do not use the result as a reason to touch, feed, capture, or approach wildlife.
